The ship of UNESCO Underwater Archaeology UniTwin Network is ready for the trainings
The ship named Selcuk-1 has reconstructed for underwater research and excavations and also UNESCO Underwater Archaeology UniTwin Network trainings by Selcuk University of Turkey which is the lieder university of the Network. This ship will be used for governmental work shops for underwater archeology and short-long terms trainings of university students and academicians in the network's common education programs.
The ship has used at underwater research and excavation projects of Antalya-Turkish Mediterranean Coast during the summer of 2014. The vessel is 27 meters long and 7 meters wide and contain 8 meters Sonar boat, 2 Zodiac boat, scuba compressors, Remote Operating Vehicles, Sonars, Magnetometers and other necesary devices.
