FIELDS AND DISCIPLINES

The activities of the Cooperation Programme pertain to the field of underwater archaeology relating to underwater cultural heritage and associated disciplines. The main fields of interest are: the protection, preservation, conservation, restoration, research, dissemination and cultural management of the underwater cultural heritage. The disciplines concerned are underwater archaeology, maritime archaeology, nautical archaeology, restoration and conservation of underwater remains museology, public presentation, management of underwater cultural heritage and waterlogged objects, coastal heritage, computer technologies and engineering on underwater archaeology.
